Accessibility statement
Safety information only works if everyone can reach it — including people using screen readers, keyboards only, zoom, or older phones in bright sunlight. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA as a launch requirement, not an aspiration.
What we do
- Body text at 18px minimum with 1.6 line height; AAA-level contrast on body text where possible.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Semantic headings and landmarks; interactive tools (checker, decision tree) announce results to screen readers.
- Dark mode and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
- Tap-to-call phone numbers and large tap targets throughout.
- Playbooks and checklists designed to print cleanly.
Known limits and feedback
Accessibility is a practice, not a checkbox. If anything on this site blocks you — a control you can’t reach, text that’s hard to read, a page that confuses your screen reader — tell us at hello@internetsafety.com.au and we’ll fix it.
