The short version

We collect almost nothing. No accounts, no tracking cookies, no advertising trackers. Our Scam Signal Checker runs entirely on your device — your answers are never transmitted or stored (sharing works by encoding answers in the link itself, which only happens if you choose to share it).

What we do collect

• Privacy-respecting analytics (page views, outbound clicks to official services, checker completions) via cookie-free analytics. No cross-site tracking, no personal profiles.
• Your theme choice (light/dark) and whether you dismissed the alert banner — stored locally on your own device, never sent to us.
• If you email us, we keep your email only as long as needed to respond.

What we never do

• Sell or share personal data with anyone.
• Record individual Scam Checker answers.
• Use advertising or social-media trackers.

We link to official government and support services. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site — we label outbound official links clearly.
